ION VEIN Resumes Recording New Album

January 27, 2009

Chicago's ION VEIN has returned to the studio with producer Neil Kernon (NILE, NEVERMORE, DEICIDE) to complete work on the band's long-awaited third album and to continue shopping it to prospective labels/management. The group says, "We'll be in at Rax Trax for evening sessions all week so it'll be nice for Allen [James, vocals] to finally get a good head of steam rolling. At this point, it's looking like the album will contain 10 tracks. The other two songs that were recorded during initial sessions will be put on the back burner for now."

BuzzNEWS.tv conducted an interview with ION VEIN prior to the band's November 1, 2008 show in Schaumburg, Illinois. Watch the ten-minute chat below and check out a full review of the concert here.

You can listen to some of ION VEIN's new material on the band's MySpace page.
